Top garden rodents and birds
Переглядів 8110 років тому
Rodents in top garden, and a couple of a thrush and blackbird. Video taken with an Aldi Maginon WK3 wildlife camera. I think the rodents are small young rats. If not, they are very large mice! The camera seems to get confused in low light conditions. What is the rodent with a short tail with the walk-on walk off part at 20-30 seconds?. It is in Ireland. A vole?
Deer in top garden 2

Two deer in top garden. Video taken with an Aldi Maginon WK3 wildlife camera. The time stamp suggests the deer are grazing in the garden for several hours. A fawn was seen on the road in daylight the next day. Still images are shown to demonstrate one of the camera settings. Exposure depends on distance.

Recorded with Aldi Maginon WK3 HD wildlife camera. Date stamp on the video is out by 1 year (my fault). Recorded in July 2014. We have had up to 13 deer in our garden at one time and they eat everything. We are using the camera to see where they are coming in so we can improve the fencing. Then they will probably go through a neighbors garden, onto the road, then onto our driveway! They even ea...
floods in clonmel jan 2009: Let the waters under the heaven be gathered into one place.

Clonmel flooded on 31 January 2009, similar to floods in 2004 but not as bad as 2000 Some of these shots are from the Cross on the mountain to the south of the town. Should have used a tripod.
Near to reconnect North & South Tipperary by train.
Closed railway lines will reopen.
Thank you for a trip back in time to my beloved Clonmel, sadly the town itself is no longer the town of my childhood but the surrounding countryside hasn't changed, so many happy memories of carefree childhood wanderer around Clonmel's beautiful countryside.❤
It was a fine town back in 1993 I'm watching this now in 2022 and the town is now dead everything moved outside the town shops closed down everywhere
What a shame to see this hotel now rotting away. I have seen two many hotel go like this around the country I can't understand it
In clonmel in January 1986 In Ireland clonmel (1986. 2009)
Its lovely to see a bit of history. I am from Abbey road, and facing the West Gate, if you stand outside of Hickeys bakery shop, you will see 3 cannonballs in the West Gate wall where Cromwell tried to get in. But he did not get in. We are a tough bunch, the people from Clonmel.

Neither I nor anyone in my family works for the public service. I agree that flooding will get worse with global warming, but hope that at least in Clonmel we will get fewer floods on town when the flood relief works are finished. If Antarctica melts, sea levels rise by about 70 to 80m and Clonmel will be under 30 m of water. See youtube video "sea level rise in northern europe". Live in Clonmel? Chances are your house will be underwater. But then Antartica is not going to melt. Yet.
The works in town have been going a long time now (since january's floods at least) and ive passed by a few times and almost never see anyone working down there. Maybe its slow cos of funding.
These floods do not happen every year. The last serios flood was in 2004, and before that, about 2000. Works are presently underway to solve this problem, under the control of the Office of Public Works.
same story every year....
Many thanks for these videos .. have certainly brought me back in time .. many shops gone and a time when there were plenty of business in town sadly local council and our Govt have ensured towns like Clonmel are not a properous as they were in the past.. but aside from this .. good to see the main guard .. faces and friends now gone again many thanks
